17 Enoch's vision
17 Enoch’s Vision: Moses 7:22–47
Think about
when you have felt God’s mercy in your life? What were those circumstances? How
did it feel to know that God loves you and that He is with you to help you?
How do you
think you’d feel if you were shown a vision of the earth’s history?
Enoch had
that. He saw all that would happen until Jesus came again for the Millennium
and that the Earth would finally get her rest.
Enoch
learned about our Father’s love for all His children. He couldn’t understand
why God, the Creator of all could weep for those who go astray. It’s because of
His great love. Enoch learned about that love, and He began to feel like God
feels.
God has
mercy for every single one of us.

With help
and guidance from the Lord, Enoch established the City of Zion.
The people
of Zion were unified in the Lord, lived in righteousness, and cared for one
another.
Read Moses 7:16–19 What were the people of Zion like?
What kind of
people do we need to be, so that we can help to build up Zion today?
Read Moses 7:20–21 Can you imagine if all of San
Bernardino were to be lifted up into heaven because of the righteousness of the
inhabitants here? That is what happened to the City of Enoch.
I’ll read
this one Moses 7:22 And Enoch also beheld the residue of
the people which were the sons of Adam; and they were a mixture of all the seed
of Adam.
Read Moses 7:23–26
Enoch then
had a tender experience as he watched God look upon the people who had chosen
not to obey Him.
